A very interesting post by IBM Eightbar’s Ian Hughes (epredator Potato) on Terra Nova regarding the perceived differences and similarities between real life corporate environments and ‘games’ or virtual worlds.

Is there an architectural equivalent to this discussion? As more corporations build virtual headquarters, are there parallels or lessons we can learn from the game world? I think so.

Perhaps this could be the topic for our next Architecture Island discussion on August 9th?
