Both Steelcase and Herman Miller are headquartered in West Michigan. I was a sales engineer and trainer for Computer Aided Planning, the company that created the CAP software system for creating CAD layouts, specification and takeoffs of structured furniture systems. ( http://cadence.cadalyst.com/1998/0698/aec.html ) I think I still have my Steelcase Certificates for structured furniture design somewhere!
